New Graduate Nurse Residency Program

Memorial Hospital's Graduate Nurse Residency program is a year-long program that fosters a safe learning environment to effectively transition the new graduate nurse from the classroom to the bedside. It includes preceptorship training with specialized preceptors that have been trained to assist in filling the individualed learning needs of the new graduate nurse. It also includes weekly didactic classroom sessions where we continue to foster learning by having experts and physicans present on topics geared towards specific learning needs. The program also offers individualized care by our coordinator, who assists in ensuring your success in the program.
